BLACK SWAMP - 14" Stainless Wrap-around Replacement Snare. Cable snares produce a darker, more articulate sound that is appropriate for concert snare drums. They also reduce sympathetic buzz as compared to standard wire snares. The Black Swamp Stainless steel cable provides a bright sound when compared to coated;cable, but not as bright sounding as the snappy snares.; Available in two styles: Standard (fits on any drum, lies completely on bottom head) and Wrap-around (extends beyond bearing edge and wraps around counterhoop). Standard is easier to mount and fit, Wrap-around produces more sound.
